Miss 3 Months

Jayde - here are some fun facts about you at three months old:

• Lately you have loved standing up on your cute chubby legs and your body will wobble around. You also love to sit up and are getting so good at holding up your head. Lately you definitely prefer sitting over laying flat.
• You love to chew on our knuckles which makes me think that you might be starting to teethe - scary!
• You have an adorable bald spot on the back of your head from moving it around so much while on your back and looking at the world.
• You don’t like to be in your car seat sometimes and will kick your legs, flail your arms, and let your vocal cords let the world know that you want out… and Now.
• Right after your bath at night you start to get in your nighttime fussy mode which threw us for a loop the first few times because you’re usually always a happy baby. We are figuring out that you get fussy when you’re tired so we swaddle you right up and put you in bed.
• You love to be up on my shoulder and look around wide-eyed at the world. We love those big blue eyes!
• You still hate tummy time though which is a bummer.
• When I put you on the changing table you lit your legs up for me to change your diaper, and watch yourself pat my arm over and over again.
• You have been swatting at the little creatures above your play-mat and grabbing onto things including your feet.
• The second you’re awake you have a huge smile on your face when you see us hover over you, and you want to be out of those swaddle blankets. You’ll flail around until you get your arms free.
• When you are done eating, you are Done Eating and will purse your lips and start to squirm and wail to let me know.
• You still LOVE your little lamb mobile that plays “Mary had a Little Lamb”. If you are crying we just stick you under there in your crib and instantly you are happy and smiling again. I have no idea why, but it’s amazing!
• You have outgrown a few of your 0-3 month clothes which is so sad for me!
• When you look at yourself in the mirror you start to giggle - it's adorable and completely melts our hearts.
