Zoo Animals & U Animals

We took a trip up to Salt Lake to go to one of the Utah games. Jayde always loves going to her Nana & Papa's house, and it was fun taking her to the zoo. She LOVES animals, and was pointing ooh'ing and aah'ing the entire time. It was so cute. On the way up there is a petting zoo in Scipio which is the best because Jayde can watch the animals while I feed Colt - win win!

She loves jumping on the tramp - and I love watching her and seeing her trampoline hair.

She was very hesitant of the rhino because it was right on the other side of the glass. Stood at the elephant and kept wanting to go back to see them. We asked if giraffes are short or tall and she said, 'So Tall!' with that hand gesture.

Our little stud muffin.

GOOO UTES!

Watching Bambi outside.

He slept a lot of the game which was possible from these earmuff things we had for Jayde. Don't mind the fact that they're pink - he sure didn't!

LOVE this picture of Jayde!

Trip - successful

raking leaves & utah game

Here are some pictures of Jayde helping her Papa rake up the leaves...
he would flop into them and pretend like he was buried,
and she did not like that so much!
She did however like throwing them all over the place.

It was so fun seeing her at the Utah game all bundled up,
especially when she would clap for the team when she saw everyone else clapping!
It's been harder to take her since she mostly wants to walk all the way up the stairs -
the... entire... time
but we still have a lot of fun.

I honestly don't even remember who they were playing, or if Utah won...

...but here are pictures from the first Utah we attended this year. Here is Jayde gearing up for the game - she's pretty excited!

The long walk to the stadium which helps me justify the Hawaiian burger I get.

Playing with Pablo at the Tyson's aunt & uncle's house afterward. She loved this dog! I keep telling Tyson he should get her one for Christmas but I don't think I'm very convincing.

Phoenix football

Have you ever seen a cactus this HUGE?! They were ginormous!

We went to Phoenix with Jessi and Ryan to watch the Broncos play. It was fun to be able to wear capris and flip flops in the middle of December! Jayde did wonderful, and we had a blast.
Just hanging out the morning of the game. We were lucky enough to use Teri's time-share and stayed in a nice hotel that had a washer/dryer which came in handy after Jayde's blow-out on the way there. It was the cursed Harley outfit!

Met up with a bunch of Horrocks cousins for breakfast. It was awesome to have them all come meet us even though it was far away for some.

Glorious fruit freshly picked from the Orange Patch that Tyson goes to every time he goes to Phoenix. We bought grapefruit, canned pickles and peaches, candy, and honey which were all delicious.

The stadium!

Some pre-game photos. Our seats were awesome, and Jayde was getting compliments right and left.

Oh how I love a baby that will sleep during the middle of a football game!

We stayed with Jessi & Ryan on the way back to St. George which was fun. Jayde couldn't get enough of their little dogs and she would just laugh and laugh when Jessi would have her pet them, it was so funny.

Utah vs TCU game

Let's just say Jayde enjoyed herself at the Utah vs TCU game but the rest of us did not enjoy the outcome. Utah just played horribly and TCU had a flawless game so in my opinion they completely deserved to win which they did by a longshot!

We knew it was going to be super loud so we had Jayde wear some kid sound canceling ear phones which worked wonders! When it started getting loud at the beginning she put her hands to her ears so we stuck these babies on her and she enjoyed the whole game without hurting her ears and without her mom worrying.

I might be a little biased but I think she's the cutest little baby ever! How adorable are those ear phones on her, and I LOVE all of the fuzz on her head.

She slept for a TON of the game so I enjoyed just holding her and watching sitting down. There wasn't much to watch on the field.
On our way to the car we took advantage of some of the leaves on the ground and stuck Jayde in some of them to take some pics. She's really starting to be able to sit up by herself which makes it super fun.
