November Adventures

This November we had a ton of fun after moving into Tyson's parents house. Fall came and Jayde loved jumping in the leaf piles her Papa made. She made a new friend Stella who is her nanny's daughter, and her and Colt adjusted very well with going over there a few hours every day.

We got our first huge snow storm, and watched "Bambi and Bambi's Mamma" walk around the backyard and eat the apples we left out for them. I helped Jayde make her first snowman, and we played follow the leader in snow tracks because the snow was so deep. Jayde even face planted off the swings into about 2 feet of snow and I scooped her up while she was laughing away. I loved how much she loved the snow, because it was technically her first time really remembering playing in it.

Jayde learned what Hot Chocolate was, and absolutely loved the stuff! Below are some fun pics of Colt while we were waiting for Tyson to pick up some Pie Pizza. I just can't get enough of those kissable huge cheeks! Jayde wanted in on some of the action and took some funny pictures of herself on my phone.

We did some fun baking, and the power went out one night which Jayde loved. She played around with the flash lights and lanterns while she ate dinner. Tyson was very excited that football season started so we wouldn't have to drive up so far to go to the games.

Halloween 2012

This last Halloween was a blast. Jessi, Ryan, and Hayley were able to come up and spend some time with the family. It was fun doing all of the ward parties, and dressing up the kids to match. Jayde got to ride her first Ferris Wheel at Scheels, pick out her and her brother's own pumpkin at the pumpkin patch, and learn how to carve them out.

We also went to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point which was very fun. Jayde loved climbing all over the wooden playsets, playing in the corn maze, trying out all the good food and playing on the bounce houses.

Colt was a devil and Jayde was an angel for Halloween. They did great in their costumes! Jayde loved walking door to door and learning that when she said "Trick or Treat" she would get candy. She was in heaven!

snow boots & stairs

While this girl was supposed to be taking a nap she stripped off her pants and proceeded to try on her new snow boots. She then figured she was done "sleeping" so she started bum sliding down the stairs. I found her like this... so funny.

Bambi, Bambi, Bambi

One day while at Ace Hardware Jayde spotted some little animal figurines. I let her pick two so she picked "Baby Bambi" and "Bambi's Mamma". Ever since she took those little animals home they have gone EVERYWHERE with her. It is her favorite toy... ever. I thought I would do a little post about where Jayde and Bambi's adventures have taken them: playing on the dishwasher,

snoozing,

reading books, tea parties, TV watching,

bathing beauties (had to put in the bum shot),

going on walks, more sleeping, filling their tummies, playing in the pool, almost getting lost at the park, entertaining while at church,

hanging out at the bank while we open a personal savings account for Colton,

and then we added Bambi's Dada to their little family, and they met SNOW!

I'm so glad Jayde loves animals so much. I was the same way when I was younger. It will be sooner than later that she is asking us for real life animals as presents!

Randomness from last October

Playing with our St. George friends (Tayli, Ava, and Lux).

Jayde sleeping in her closet instead of her bed. I don't even know why we have an adorable bed for this little girl when she prefers sleeping on the ground.

Rice cereal for the first time. Not much went down, but he seemed to enjoy it!

Just riding bikes in front of our house.

 Colt helping me work.

Jayde got her first 'haircut' with bangs. She wasn't sure about the whole process, but Bri did an awesome job and I love it!

The deer visit us after the first snowstorm of the season and Jayde wanted to go out half dressed for the day to play in it.
