'twas the night before christmas

This year we did Christmas up in Salt Lake and had a blast. The picture below is the star up on the mountain that you can see in Sandy. One of Tyson's parent's friends is the one who hikes it up every year and every early evening they put gas in the generator for it to shine at night. Tyson, me, Ryan, and Darryl hiked up one of the nights. It was very steep, but the ski poles made it much easier to hike it. It was cool being able to see it up there unlit.

Traditional 'family by the Christmas tree' pictures.

Jayde was super happy the entire time! I don't know how we were blessed to have such a happy baby.

Below is what I think goes through our daughter's mind while opening up presents which would have taken forever if not for her daddy helping her along. She was super cute to watch. Here she is opening her Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve.

Us in our new Christmas Eve Pajamas. (minus the little one who fell fast asleep in her pack-n-play)
