Pre-Christmas festivities

We celebrated Christmas in Salt Lake this year and were able to be up there that week prior. At the annual family Christmas party on the Horrock's side Jayde sat on Santa's lap again and we socialized with the family.

We then headed to Temple Square to look at the lights because Ryan had never been... and I guess technically it was Jayde's first time, but she was asleep in her stroller the whole time.






We woke up early and drove out to Hardware Ranch to see the elk up close. It was really cool to have them right next to you! We rode on one of their sleighs to get up close and personal to watch them eat. It's amazing how large they are! Much bigger than deer ;0) It was freezing, but Jayde did great and was her adorable little self the whole time.
