pre-christmas festivities

We were able to drive up to Salt Lake to spend Christmas with Tyson's family. Every year his grandma puts on a Christmas party and Santa comes and gives the kids gifts. It is fun catching up with cousins that we only see once a year, and having Jayde sit on Santa's lap. She did great!

Just hanging out with her daddy. We did some last minute shopping and used Teri's double stroller. Jayde loved it at first, and then became her usual stroller-hater self after those buttons got old. Man I wish she liked to ride in those things!

We went to Thanksgiving Point to see the lights. We got in line and then saw how many cars were all packed ahead of us waiting to go through. The wait would have been over an hour which was crazy - so we opted to get out and see the reindeer instead. Maybe next year!

Jessi and adorable miss Hayley Jo

Christmas Eve the family all spends time together relaxing and cooking. Here's Jayde and her dada enjoying some computer time. All of the kids (us) went to see Arthur Christmas during the day which turned out to be pretty funny.

Little miss Jayde LOVED dancing to the Christmas toys. This particular one is a penguin, and she was going to town dancing all around the room - so cute!

We try to snap a family picture in front of the flocked tree every year we are there. Jayde wasn't sure about the ornaments on it, and the faces she was making were priceless.

Here is the three of us (and baby squishy). Jayde is so silly!

The grandparents came over for the Christmas Eve dinner which was delicious as usual!

And here is Tyson putting together Jayde's Christmas gift before we were off to bed... tongue out and everything. It is so much fun being a parent!
