MOAB - day 2... the hummer

Day 2 of the Moab trip was going on a hummer tour. None of us were sure what to expect since we'd never been on anything before. Let's just say it was NOT what I expected. We were going up huge rock formations with steep cliffs on each side... at one point all we could see ahead of us was the sky because we were going at such a crazy incline.

It was amazing!! If you ever get the chance to do something like that - DO!

Everyone gearing up for the ride - completely clueless to how much fun we were about to have! The girls were all strapped in their car seats and ready to go. Jayde ended up sleeping a lot of it also which was crazy because it was very bumpy.

This is the face most people (I think) were making when going up (and down) those huge rocks.

The guide told us to take a picture of the horizon - so you could see how much of an incline we were really going on. It was awesome!

Our guide was also talking about the dinosaurs and how they lived in this area a long time ago... then he said to look down at where we were standing, and there were a bunch right there which was fun to see.

The sunset was gorgeous, and the whole landscape was just amazing. Utah is such a diverse place, and it was fun seeing this side of it. Afterward we went to grab ice-cream which was kind of funny because it was so cold at night, but very delicious. It's definitely one of the coolest things I've ever done!
