miss 9 months

Jayde not only are you now 9 months old, but you turned 9 months on Valentines Day! It was tough taking pictures of you because you're such a busy bee, so the one above is the best shot I was able to get.

At nine months old - when we read to you, you turn the pages of book for us. You especially love your rattle book, and when we make loud noises of the things we’re reading about to spruce it up a bit.

You’ve learned how to sit up from a laying down position and now you take forever to fall asleep! We go in there thinking that you’re not making a peep because you are sleeping, but you are sitting up or kneeling, grabbing onto the bars with a big grin on your face. We then help you lay back down, and then you sit up again. This happens over, and over, and over, and over, and over again until you finally stay down and let yourself fall asleep.

You are getting so close to crawling! You will be on all fours and rock your body forward and backward, but haven't gotten to that point just yet. You do scoot backwards though, and get kind of frustrated when you want to go towards your toys but are going further away from them. It's pretty funny

You have been sleeping through the night. And I mean like from 8:30 to 7 every morning without waking up at night. It's been awesome!

You are still super talkative when you’re at home. If we’re at the store or something you jabber saying ma ma la la da da until you see a stranger looking at you and you stop talking and stare at them back.

You’ve started to roll your top lip under when you smile which is adorable.
