- She is constantly grabbing onto her feet and rolling from side to side. Tyson keep saying that one of these days she is going to roll over… of course we’ve been saying that for about a month now.
- She has this high pitched squeal that is very loud. We call them her raptor noises. It’s really cute until we get to church and she talks away and doesn’t really know the words shhh yet. She loves to talk and will do it all day if she could!
- We were swaddling her at night and she was constantly waking up and grunting to try to get out so we decided to stop the swaddling. Here’s how it went:
1st night – Fed her around 8 and put her to bed. Before we went to bed I fed her again at 10:30 The first night she cried for about 10 minutes and fell asleep – she woke up maybe 2 times before I fed her at 3:30am then woke up another time needing her binkey. Then she slept until 9:30am which was amazing because she used to not sleep past 7 every morning. The next night she only took about 5 minutes of crying before falling asleep and needed her binkey once that night before I fed her at 4:30am when she woke up. Then she slept through until 9:30am again which was awesome. Last night she took about 5 minutes to fall asleep again when we put her down at 8:30 – woke up at 5:30 to eat, then woke up at 10:30! Let’s just say I think she likes to have her arms free more than being swaddled now.
- Loves to play with our faces and unintentionally pull my hair.
- Can roll over from her tummy to her back.
- Like tummy time a lot more than she used to.
- Has the cutest fuzzy head with lots of new blonde hair growing in. Our little Chicken Head.
- Her eyes are still a beautiful dark blue.
- She loves to chew on our fingers.
- We have started spoon-feeding her rice cereal once a day and you are kind of getting the hang of it… kind of.
- Loves her bath and has graduated to the sitting up side.
- She can sit up by herself for a little bit before falling over.
- We sit outside on a blanket in the grass and read books and play with toys because of the great weather.
- She's learned to look backwards and up at us when we’re holding her on our lap – realizing that we’re behind you.
- Likes to sit on my lap and watch me work on the computer.
- Loves to play airplane and have us fly her through the air.
- Her feet, neck, and back are super ticklish.
- She sticks everything into her mouth.
- She is a really good eater and eat great with a bottle and nursing.
- She is going through a ‘mommy’ phase where at night all she wants is me and will scream and scream until she falls asleep. This is hard on dad when I go to the gym at night, but I think she's slowly learning that he’s pretty cool because she's doing a little better.
